Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you when using WayToClawEarn.
1Who we are
WayToClawEarn operates the website and APIs described on this domain. The data controller for personal data processed through the product is the entity identified on your agreement or invoice; otherwise contact addresses on the Contact page apply.
2Information we collect
Account data: email, password hash, optional display name, subscription tier and billing identifiers when you register or subscribe.
Usage data: pages viewed, approximate timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to secure the service.
Newsletter: email address and optional attribution fields (e.g., source case slug) when you subscribe to digest emails.
Payments: card data is processed by Stripe; we receive limited billing metadata (customer id, subscription ids, status, renewal timestamps) as required to provision access.
3Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide accounts, personalize access tiers, deliver email you requested, prevent abuse, comply with law, and improve reliability.
Where GDPR applies, we rely on contract necessity, legitimate interests (security and product improvement balanced against your rights), and consent where required (e.g., certain marketing).
4Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies for session continuity (e.g., signed-in state where implemented) and security.
Analytics cookies, if introduced later, will be disclosed here with opt-out or consent controls as required by your region.
5Sharing and subprocessors
We share data with infrastructure and payment providers strictly to operate the service—e.g., hosting, email delivery, Stripe for payments.
We do not sell personal information as traditionally defined in U.S. state privacy laws; we do not share data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for fraud prevention, tax, and legal obligations.
Email marketing lists honor unsubscribe immediately for future sends; suppression records may be retained to prevent accidental re-adds.
7Your rights
Depending on jurisdiction you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. Contact privacy@waytoclawearn.com to exercise rights.
You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority where applicable.
8International transfers
If data is processed in countries without adequacy decisions, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
9Children
The service is not directed to children under 16 (or higher age where local law requires). If you believe we collected a child’s data in error, contact us for deletion.
10Changes
We will post updates here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be emailed to registered users where appropriate.
